This DVD contains Dr. Beller's complete
presentation including the slides referenced during his
presentation. It also contains a short introduction to US Nuclear
Energy by Director Gary J. Duarte and a 15 minute clip from the
Nevada Newsmakers TV show about nuclear energy and Yucca Mountain
with Duarte and Dr. Nicholas Tsoulfanidis, Interim Chair
Chemical & Metallurgical Engineering University of Nevada, Reno.

It is approximately 102
minutes long and is a very good dissertation about the Yucca
Mountain facility and nuclear waste. It reviews the safety of the
Yucca project and he also discusses the advancement in nuclear plant
"efficiency" realized in the past 10 years, the nations diminishing
numbers of trained nuclear scientists and our need to bring
engineering and science back into our university systems.
NOTE:
There is a high pitched audio glitch
throughout this DVD recording, we have tried, but we have been unable to
remove. However, it does not impede the ability to hear the presentation.
