Nuclear Energy
is an
independent foundation and not supported by any industry or
nuclear association but by individual support in order to retain our
independence.
Our mission is to influence change in public
opinion towards
knowledgeable citizens about nuclear energy and waste repository
issues.
“Our freedoms can
only
be maintained by the advancement of technologies that serve mankind—
not
advancing technology puts Freedom at Risk and
our freedom is
threatened because we
don't take the time to
participate in it” GJD
Unfortunately
our world does not recognize
"superstar scientists"
as they do
entertainers.
Our
country needs a new PROGRAM . . "The
Annual Academia Awards"
Identifying Americas scientists to
Americas Citizens!
Our hats are off to
our Contributing Scientists for their
"superstar science"!
The page below is our
single page FLYER overviewing our mission. Please help us promote this
information by downloading the PDF file and printing this FLYER for your contacts,
friends collogues businesses -- any way you can distribute our message "About Nuclear"!

The most productive, efficient, clean, non-greens-house gas
energy source worldwide comes from nuclear energy . . .
Don’t take our word . . . accept our INVITATION to learn
more!
Our mission
is to influence change in public opinion towards knowledgeable
citizens about nuclear energy and waste repository issues. We do
this with:
lOur
Website
supports dozens of articles PowerPoint slides a PDF document library
etc.
lPrinted
literature
and flyer distribution of the educational information we produce.
lPublic
presentations
by scientists and engineers involved in the nuclear industry are
held at various times open FREE to interested citizens.
lService
Organizations:
We contact local service organizations; a method of bringing nuclear
science education to community groups interested in our
presentations.
l
Distribution:
Literature / flyer distribution can be extended to local companies
and businesses many of whom will benefit by nuclear development.
lData
Basing:
information we receive is added to our database. New contacts are
listed and we send them the new information we develop, so they can
provide it to their contacts
In a publication by the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for 21st
Century Energy . . . “Energy Security In The 21st
Century” states that “53% of our US electrical power comes from
coal plants and 20% from nuclear”. “We have 10,000 power plants
across the country, only 66 of them nuclear with 104 reactors”. Just
based on the small number of nuclear reactors at 104 they are
extremely efficient by producing 20% of the electrical power.
According to this, if we doubled our nuclear plants to 208 they
would generate 40% of our electrical power effectively reducing our
Greenhouse Gas emissions by 40%. More former anti-nuclear
environmentalists now support nuclear energy than ever before!
We ask you to consider . . . “A viable Alternative-Think About It”
Knowledge is power . . . learn about nuclear power, to
empower yourself!
